Acceptable Usage Policy

1. The Women�s Health Council supports the free flow of information and ideas over the Internet and does not exercise editorial control over the content of any Web Site, electronic mail transmission, text message, bulletin board, discussion group, chat forum or other material created or accessible over or through the web site. However, the Women�s Health Council does reserve the right to remove any material which, in its sole discretion, constitutes a misuse of a discussion group chat forum, bulletin board or e-mail.
2. The following constitutes a misuse of the services offered by the Women�s Health Council and its web site:
   1. using the web site and services for any improper, unlawful or immoral purpose, causing any nuisance by your use of the web site and/or services or causing the operation of the web site and/or services to be jeopardised or impaired;
   2. using the web site and/or services to create, host or transmit (whether in a live chat room, on a bulletin board, as a text message or otherwise) any defamatory, offensive, or obscene material or engaging in activities which would cause offence to others on grounds of race, creed or sex;
   3. using the web site and/or services to harm, or attempt to harm, minors in any way.
   4. using the web site and/or services to transmit any material that threatens or encourages bodily harm or the destruction of property;
   5. using the web site and/or services to create, host or transmit material which infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary rights of any other party;
   6. using the web site and/or services to transmit unsolicited advertising material to other users;
   7. using the web site and/or services to transmit any material that harasses another;
   8. using the web site and/or services to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items or services;
   9. adding, removing or modifying identifying network header information in an effort to deceive or mislead;
   10. using the web site and/or services to access, or to attempt to penetrate security measures of the Women�s Health Council or other entities� computer software, hardware, electronic communication system, or telecommunications system;
   11. using the web site and/or services to collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent;
   12. using the web site and/or services for any activity which adversely affects the ability of other people or systems to use the services or the Internet generally;
   13. reselling any services provided by the Women�s Health Council, its servants or agents without the prior written consent of the Women�s Health Council.
3. Due to the global nature of the Internet persons who access the web site and/or the services hereby agree to comply with all local rules regarding on-line conduct and acceptable content and, further, agree to comply with any applicable rules regarding the export of any technical data from any country.
4. The opinions expressed in discussion groups or chat forums and/or posted on bulletin boards are not necessarily those of the Women�s Health Council. Any statements, advice and opinions made by such participants are those of such participants only. The Women�s Health Council neither endorses nor shall be held responsible for the reliability nor accuracy of same.

You will indemnify the Women�s Health Council from and against anly loss, damage or expense incurred by the Women�s Health Council arising out of your misuse of the website and/or services of the Women�s Health Council or the information accessible through the web site.

Please note that the Women�s Health Council has the ability to trace your IP address and if necessary contact your ISP in the event of a suspected breach of its Acceptable Usage Policy.
